LIQUID MUSIC      [ english ] DAS PROJEKT ___ LIQUID MUSIC ist ein Projekt von Heimo Ranzenbacher / TXTD.sign in Kooperation mit der Stadtgemeinde Judenburg. Primäre Manifestation ist die seit 1998 jährlich in der Stadt Judenburg durchgeführte Veranstaltung LIQUID MUSIC. Grosso modo hat LIQUID MUSIC eine Verbindung der bei den Veranstaltungen angewandten künstlerischen Strategien mit Formen des städtischen Lebensalltages zum Ziel. Die Utopie einer Identifikation der Stadt mit LIQUID MUSIC ist für das Projekt Programm. Judenburg ist für LIQUID MUSIC Schauplatz und Ressource der Erfahrung zugleich. Das meint, dass ebenso wie die Stadt integrierender Teil von Liquid Music ist, die künstlerischen Beiträge integrierende Teile des Projektes sind. In Orientierung an der Projekt-Utopie einer Identifikation der Stadt mit LIQUID MUSIC sind sämtliche Aktivitäten ihrer Anlage nach auf eine potenzielle Verbindung zu einem Gesamtsystem hin konzipiert: die Anwesenheit der KünstlerInnen und ihre Arbeiten mit Liquid City, Liquid City mit dem V:S:R und den IP-Adressen und letztere wiederum mit den Arbeiten der KünstlerInnen ... Im Fokus des Projektes steht die ://Kunst. INTENTIONEN ___ LIQUID MUSIC wird mit der Absicht betrieben, wirtschaftliche-soziale Bedingungen, die den Lebensalltag prägen, als Bedingungen zu vermitteln, welche mediensystemische Künste [://Kunst] als die Ihren anerkennen und die sie in den diversen Erscheinungsformen thematisieren und erfahrbar machen. LIQUID MUSIC ist ein Projekt der Neugier. Die künstlerischen Beiträge werden entweder eigens für LIQUID MUSIC erarbeitet oder im Hinblick auf die "Erfahrungsressource" Judenburg modifiziert. Das Veranstaltungskonzept von LIQUID MUSIC sieht vor, dass jeweils eine/r der bei einer LIQUID MUSIC-Veranstaltung engagierten KünstlerInnen auch ein zweites Mal vertreten ist. [LIQUID MUSIC 1999] STÖRFELDER Reni Hofmüller - RealAudio-Workshop und REAL.CELLO Berliner Theorie [S.Auinger + R.Huber] - FILTER Werner Jauk - IRRITATIONEN STÖRFELDER nahm vor allem auf die Eignung von Kommunikations- und Informationsmedien bezug, EigenSinn zu erzeugen - nämlich eine Wahrnehmungsoberfläche von Kommunikation und Information, der sich der Sinn des Kommunizierten und der Informationen unterordnet. Bestimmend war dabei die Annahme, dass eine Kultur der zunehmenden Vernetzung mit der Veränderung im Verhältnis der Dinge zueinander die Dinge selbst in eine Art Ereigniszustand überführt. Das Fremde als Ereigniszustand, in den mit Vertrautheit assoziierte Dinge überzuwechseln im Begriff sind. Das Thema, DER 3.ORT, folgt aus der Entwicklung des Projektes Tracks+Traces [co.in.cide] durch x-space [Gerfried Stocker, Horst Hörtner, Heimo Ranzenbacher]. Tracks+Traces [co.in.cide] wurde auf Einladung von Graz 2003 - Kulturhauptstadt Europas, die Stadt Judenburg durch LIQUID MUSIC im Rahmen von STADT_LAND_KUNST am Programm zu beteiligen, konzipiert. Its primary manifestation is the LIQUID MUSIC festival that has been staged annually since 1998. Each year, at least three project contributions are produced in conjunction with it and speakers are invited to address various aspects of the respective festival theme. Operative linkages are established by means of so-called sub-projects. Judenburg is simultaneously the venue of and the resource of experience for LIQUID MUSIC. Just as the city is an integral part of Liquid Music, the artistic contributions are integral parts of the projects. The utopia of an identification of the city with LIQUID MUSIC is the project's programmatic aim. With an orientation on this project utopia, all activities have been conceived with consideration given to a potential linkage to an overall system: the presence of the artists and their works with Liquid City, these with the V:S:R and the IP addresses, and these in turn with the works of the artists ... The artistic contributions have either been produced expressly for LIQUID MUSIC or customized for Judenburg as "experiential resource." The staging concept of LIQUID MUSIC provides that each artist engaged for a LIQUID MUSIC event will also be represented a second time. The 3rd place theme is an offshoot of the development of the Tracks+Traces [co.in.cide] project by x-space [Gerfried Stocker, Horst Hörtner, Heimo Ranzenbacher]. In response to an invitation from Graz 2003 - Cultural Capital of Europe, Tracks+Traces [co.in.cide] was developed further by LIQUID MUSIC as Judenburg's contribution to the STADT_LAND_KUNST (City_Province_Art) program being presented as part of the Graz 2003 festivities.
